In addition to the existing FCpro version with REST/SOAP interface, there is now FileConverterPro-CL (FCpro-CL). FCpro-CL offers the same features as FCpro but in the form of a standalone command-line application. This allows you to automatically convert individual files, multiple files, or entire folder structures from various source and container formats (e.g., ZIP, MSG, EML) to PDF or PDF(A) via command-line calls.
FileConverterPro-CL (FCpro-CL) – Command-Line Application:
- FCpro functions for converting files to PDF or PDF/A.
- Standalone command-line application.
- Multithreading / parallel processing ensures high processing throughput
- Processes: individual PDF files, lists from text files, folders, and entire folder structures.
- Configuration via user interface.
- The selected functions, their parameters, and processing are managed via profiles.
- Profile functions: New, Copy, Delete, Rename, Export to file, Import from file.
- Logging.
Additional options – in addition to the basic PDF conversion function:
- PDF/A – for an ISO-standardized archive/output format
- OCR – Make PDFs, scans, and images searchable
- PDFCompressor – Compress and reduce the size of PDFs, including MRC compression
- PDFSecureSign – Encrypt, protect, and sign PDFs
