General Purpose

The Image2PDFA is a command-line application which converts image(TIF Uncompressed, TIF Gr. 4, TIF JPEG Compression, TIF LZW Compression, JPEG, PNG, BMP) documents to PDF and PDF/A.

Installation process:

  1. Run the Setup executable

Commandline Parameters

Parameter Description
/src=["]<image_file_path>["] The fully qualified path of the image document. This parameters is required.
/dst=["]<destination_pdf_file_path>["] The fully qualified path of the destination PDF document. If this parameter is not specified the destination PDF file name and path will be the same like the image file path but with .PDF extension.
/v=["]<pdfversion>["]

The version of the output PDF document. Possible values are:

  • pdf14
  • pdf15
  • pdf16
  • pdf17
  • pdfa1a
  • pdfa1b

The default value is pdfa1b.

/title=["]<title>["] The 'Title' field in the PDF document metadata.
/subject=["]<subject>["] The 'Subject' field in the PDF document metadata.
/author=["]<author>["] The 'Author' field in the PDF document metadata.
/keywords=["]<title>["] The 'Keywords' field in the PDF document metadata.
/log=[["]<log_file_path>["]] The fully qualified log file path. If only the  /log option is specified (without path) the log file name and path will be the same like the input file name but with the .log extension.
/la If this option is specified the new log entries will be appended to the log file. This option can be used only if the log file path is fully specified /log=["]<log_file_path>["]
